A native of Sioux City, Susie has always loved jewelry and art.  She combined her loves two years ago and began designing jewelry.  Her work with semi-prescious stones, glass beads, crystal and metal is taken to a new level with interesting and unexpected combinations.  She is a board member of Siouxland Artists Inc. and has pieces of her work shown at the The Gallery in Sioux City.
 
Susie and her family love to travel and she is always searching for unique stones and beads along the way to turn into works
of art.  She also enjoys participating in Art Shows including Okoboji Art in the Park and Art Splash held every Labor Day
weekend in Sioux City.  Her work won the "People's Choice" award at Art in the Park, Latham Park in 2010.
 
Susie enjoys learning new techniques and is currently working on hand hammered copper pieces to add to her collection.
