Our May Exhibition Artist will be Karess Knudtson of Milford, IA.  A Special Selection of Karess' Mixed Media/Photography will be on display during the month of May.

A reception will be held for Karess on Friday, May 4th from 5:30-7:00pm.

Between 6:30 and 8:30pm on Tuesday, May 22nd, there will be a live (clothed) model available at A Piece of Work, Inc. for participating artists to draw inspiration from during the May installation of the ArtsLive “Art Night Out” event series.   But don’t let the name fool you, “Wine and Women” is open to the public... men and women alike!
 Under the guidance of staff artists Irene McCoy and Sharon Sadusky, each participant will use charcoal and pastels to create a one-of-a-kind work of art. You may bring extra art supplies but paper, charcoal and pastels will be provided. Tables will be there to draw on, but it is recommended that participants bring their own drawing boards. A live (clothed) model will be posing to draw inspiration from. “Wine and Women” is a one-night event, held from 6:30pm to 8:30pm on Tuesday, May 22nd.  The cost is $20.00 per participant, and seating is limited to 10.
The registration fee will cover the cost of instruction, all necessary materials and the model.  Both amateur and professional artists alike are welcome to join in the fun, as it will be less of a classroom setting and more of a group art session!

Our June Exhibition Artists will be Avis Davis and Dan Ruf, of Spirit Lake, Iowa.  A Special Selection of Avis' Paintings and Dan's Photography will be on display during the month of June.

We opened up our back alley to graffiti artists and muralists, and on Saturday, June 16th, we are encouraging painters of all styles to come and help us continue the ever-changing mural we like to call "the Alley of Ahhs..."

Our September Exhibition Artist will be Joel Lueck of Roland, IA.  A Special Selection of Joel's 3-D Renderings and Pen & Ink Drawings will be on display during the month of September.

Our October Exhibition Artist will be Jennifer Samuels-Tewes of Ocheyedan, IA.  A Special Selection of Jennifer's Nature Photography will be on display during the month of October.
